    BANA artists to show during Larkhall Open Studios weekend, 5th-7th May

    Three BANA members, Felicity Bowers, Deborah Keiller and Ione Parkin RWA, are among over thirty artists who will be giving the public a glimpse of their work as part of the fourth annual Larkhall Open Studios art trail.

    Ione Parkin is now working towards her forthcoming exhibition next year at the Victoria Art Gallery, Bath. A founder member of BANA, Ione originally studied fine art at Winchester School of Art in the 1980s and was elected a Royal West of England Academician in 2006. She has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally. Her studio off Upper Lambridge Street will be open on the 5th, 6th and 7th May between 11.00am and 5.00pm daily. You can view her work on her website at www.ioneparkin.co.uk  

    Deborah Keiller, visual artist and 'wild goose chaser', also studied at Winchester School of Art. Her work explores both the human figure and abstract form. She will be showing her work in the Oriel Hall exhibition, off Larkhall Square, open on the 5th and 6th May between 11.00am and 5.00pm.     Felicity Bowers is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and teacher, and member of BANA's management committee. She has studied in London, Bath and Bristol, and has an MA in multi-disciplinary printmaking from the University of the West of England. As well as helping to run BANA, Felicity is also involved with Bath Artists Studios and teaches at the ICIA. She will be showing in the Oriel Hall exhibition.
